What this service is
The Application Project provides college application mentorship — strategy guidance, essay feedback, and application support. It is not an essay writing or ghostwriting service. You write your own essays; we help you improve them.
Mentorship is provided by Hussein Abdou, a current student who recently completed the US college application process. This is experience-based guidance, not professional counseling or admissions consulting from a licensed organization.
No admission guarantee
We do not guarantee admission to any school. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control — your academic record, fit with schools, competition, and the quality of your final application. Anyone promising guaranteed admission is misleading you.
Sessions and availability
Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement over Zoom. You are responsible for attending scheduled sessions or providing reasonable notice if you need to reschedule. Availability is limited each season — see The Packages for current offerings.
WhatsApp support is included per your package tier. Response times vary; this is not an emergency or 24/7 service.
Payment
Package pricing is listed on the site and confirmed before you begin. Payment terms are agreed upon at booking. Prices are subject to change for future clients; your agreed rate applies to the package you purchase.
Refund policies, if applicable, are discussed at the time of booking. We aim to be fair — if you have concerns, contact us directly.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of information in your application and for submitting your own work. Essay feedback is guidance — you decide what to keep, change, or discard. The final application is yours.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Questions about these terms: hussein@theapplicationproject.com.
